The first task that was given to me for this part of the work experience project work was recording some footage around and outside of college to use as demo footage for my own custom BBC Intro. Once the footage had been acquired I would then import the footage into Adobe Premier Pro, export it as either a 1080p or 4K MP4 file to then upload onto YouTube to later embed onto my Work experience webnode as evidence of this work being done.
Another part of Logo-Ident was the update of previously created logos using Adobe Photoshop which I have gone into detail about in my Self-Promotion tab where I got my old logo and updated by tuning the graphic and colour settings and creating a transparent version as well as an animated intro to go along as well.
On the first day back in 2023 we were tasked with creating two different types of animated logos using Adobe After Effects with the first edit being the amazon logo which I made by making two different logos, one using the auto fill tool to highlight the logo as accurately as possible and invert it so that only a white outline of it remained, then I had a second layer that was the inner part of the amazon logo that would fade in by manipulating the opacity settings.
The second logo was the Boeing logo being given a duplicate layer in all black behind the original and given a fast blur effect to create a drop shadow effect. I then used some tinkering so that the the shadow would appear from one side of the logo and slowly move to the opposite side of the logo.
After creating and editing these two animated Logos, I then exported them both by using the Adobe Media Encoder so that the logos came out in 1080p high quality. Once this was done I uploaded them both to YouTube and later embedded them into my webnode with the rest of the work experience work.
We as a class have been watching Season 16 episode 1 of The Apprentice as part of our learning as the episode itself focuses solely on branding, something me and my class are focusing on for this webnode.
